How it works

How a brief becomes a campaign

Tell nForce what you want to run. nForce builds it from a profile of your company and its buyers and a standard written from twelve years of LinkedIn practice, and writes up every build.

We want procurement heads at US manufacturers to book a 20-minute spend walkthrough. About $90 a day.

A meeting offer for procurement and sourcing leaders in the US, at $90 a day. Two questions before I write the brief:

  1. Your site names Halvorsen Machining and Corriveau Packaging. May the ads use their results?
  2. After someone sends the form, who follows up, and how soon?

The five steps

What each step produces, shown on an example account

The examples come from Larkspur Analytics, a fictional company, and step 02 shows a real rule from the standard. Steps 03 to 05 end in one document, the brief and build documentation (early access).

  1. 01

    In your own words

You describe the campaign in your own words. nForce works through the intake with you, asking only what your account and site don't already show, and records who buys, what you offer, the proof you can cite and the words your brand does and doesn't use. You can read and correct this profile, and every audience, ad and plan is built from it.

  2. 02

    A written standard

The rules come from $20M in LinkedIn ad spend over twelve years, across dozens of accounts, and cover campaign structure, settings, bids and when to cut an ad. The core rules are the same on every account; your profile sets the benchmarks, buyers, voice and offers they are applied to.

WhyExpansion serves outside the targeting and makes a campaign untestable

    CheckedBy script, on every campaign

  1. 03

    Checked before you see it

Every plan and change is checked on budget, account settings, audience and message, and results before you see it. A failed check, such as a bid above the daily budget or a campaign with only one ad, stops the plan and says why.

  2. 04

    A brief to approve

You receive the brief and its build documentation: who it targets and why, the structure, every setting checked, every ad and the prediction. After you approve it, the campaigns are built paused in your own LinkedIn account and every setting is read back from LinkedIn. Nothing is deleted or archived.

  3. 05

    A prediction on record

Before launch, nForce writes down what it expects the campaign to do. The day-30 report compares the result with that prediction, with the sample size next to every number, and every change after launch is logged with its reason and your yes. It is the record most agencies never keep.
